TIPS ON WHERE TO STAY IN BEAVER CREEK

The properties in Beaver Creek range from more affordable and cozy options (such as The Borders) to posher and more luxurious (such as The Ritz-Carlton). First, if you are interested in the ultimate in convenience to the slopes, shopping, dining and flare, Beaver Creek Village is the place you want to stay. These vacation rental condominiums are in the “heart of the village” and include locations such as The Park Hyatt, Market Square, One Beaver Creek, The Osprey, and The Charter. The prices reflect that! Second, if you do not mind taking the shuttle and saving some money on your lodging, then Avon is the place. This lovely town sits at the entrance to Beaver Creek and has most of the everyday services. You will need to call the local free shuttle service to whisk you away to the slopes, but it is no big deal. An Avon ski condominium might be an excellent choice if you plan to visit Vail in addition to Beaver Creek. You can just jump on the highway from there and be in Vail in 15 minutes. The transportation system is easy to use from Avon, too. Download the app on your cell phone and call anytime for a ride. Third, a wonderful option is Bachelor Gulch. This is where the ski in ski out Ritz-Carlton hotel and residences is located. Stay here if you love the Ritz but do not mind having any services within walking distance. Lastly, consider staying at the Highlands area for complete ski in ski out access to the slopes with walking distance to the village. It is quieter than the village!
