Vail Mountain Biking

The Vail Valley is very well known for its hundreds of biking trails as well as world class kiing. It's a great destination for mountain bikers of all ages, giving everybody something to see and enjoy. These days, 27 trails for varying abilities, 46.5 miles in all that crisscross the towering mountains north side and, in a few locations, lead to the Legendary Back Bowls. Vail's trails are very much a cross-country experience rather than steep downhill, expert riding. A total of 19 trails offer only descending riders, or "freeriding", while the remaining trails have two-way traffice.

Vail and the surrounding Vail valley offers almost 60 miles of dirt and asphalt recreational bike routes.
